Arbor Realty Trust, a real estate investment trust that invests in a diversified portfolio of multifamily and commercial real estate-related loans and other real estate-related assets has a career opportunity at its Boston, MA office for a Business Analyst. This critical function will help support and drive continuous process, automation and improvement initiatives within the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Agency Lending processing and front-end production side of Arbor to support the overall strategic direction of the company. This role will be charged with understanding all nuances of the loan origination, screening, processing and underwriting processes, as well as the systems and tools used, to be able to properly access, identify, enforce and recommend effective automated changes and refinements to support maximum efficiencies for all stakeholders. This role will report to the front end production side of the business, yet will collaborate and be dotted line to the strategic marketing group. He/she will work closely with the marketing database and systems’ teams, with management at all levels and will work cross functionally to determine, define and present success metrics to senior and executive management.
Drive continuous process improvement initiatives working in tandem with the front end loan processing teams and database and client systems teams
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business of Business Systems or similar field
Experience: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12+ years of business operations and systems experience, with proven ability to project manage and lead in behavior change management. The candidate must demonstrate a detail-oriented approach to process refinement with a strong focus on automation and ROI. Commercial real estate underwriting a plus.
