Overview

The VP, Marketing, creates, develops, executes and manages all corporate level marketing functions. The VP, Marketing develops and executes all strategic corporate marketing activities to support the company’s short and long-term branding efforts and works collaboratively with the marketing automation and new business and strategy teams to achieve departmental and corporate goals.

Responsibilities

The VP, Marketing will have the following duties and responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

  • Strengthen and grow the Arbor brand by enhancing our reputation with key constituencies
  • Strategically develop and implement short and long-term integrated marketing strategies to support and grow the company’s marketplace position
  • Liaise with various interdepartmental and internal corporate stakeholders to support corporate select projects and key branding opportunities
  • Champion internal communications, strategically aligning with Human Resources and the firm’s Corporate Culture team to integrate, motivate and communicate with the Company’s growing national employee base
  • Project Manage and coordinate team stakeholders in developing, launching and enhancing the firm’s new intranet
  • Maintain governance of brand to ensure consistent messaging
  • Oversee the companies’ industry leading events and conference discipline, ensuring ROI and identifying speaking and thought leadership opportunities for senior level executives and sales originators for various corporate initiatives
  • Manage the comprehensive Creative Services function, maximizing workflow, priorities and consistent branding
  • Coordinate and develop all client-facing materials including corporate presentations, event-related branding and social media posts for corporate social media accounts
  • Manage and produce all corporate collateral to support national sales team
  • Supervise, develop and implement strategic communications initiatives that incorporate traditional and digital communications channels and platforms
  • Develop traditional and digital advertising campaigns, working in tandem with New Business Strategy department
  • Execute and manage comprehensive, dynamic and fast-paced digital email campaigns to ensure proper messaging, distribution and branding
  • Support, communicate and facilitate personalized campaigns for national Salesforce, creating new and innovative ideas to support individual business models
  • Manage proactive and reactive public relations

Qualifications

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree required with a major in Marketing, Journalism or English

 

Experience:  Minimum of 10 to 15 years' experience in a Marketing leadership role working in a marketing atmosphere. Finance and/or Real Estate Services experience a plus. This role requires a strong collaborative personality experienced in managing teams with strong project management skills.

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 

  • Ability to produce strategic internal and external communication plans to support corporate growth
  • Proven ability to be a hands-on contributor as well as strategic thinker
  • Must be highly collaborative to work cross-functionally with various marketing disciplines and department heads
  • Significant and proven corporate communication and branding experience
  • Understands best practices in web, mobile and email design
  • Exceptional hands-on writing capability and presentation skills
  • Strong social media acumen
  • Strong writing skills required; experience writing white papers, speeches, PowerPoints
