Arbor, a real estate investment trust that invests in a diversified portfolio of multifamily and commercial real estate-related loans and other real estate-related assets, has a career opportunity within the office in Uniondale, NY for a Senior Analyst, Asset Management. The Senior Analyst, Asset Management will be responsible for the overall analysis, securitization, servicing, and reporting of loans in Arbor Realty Trust’s (ART) loan portfolio.


The Senior Analyst, Asset Management will have the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Assist Asset managers in the quarterly valuation of Arbor’s loan portfolio.
  • Coordinate with various internal and external parties to ensure accuracy of reports:
    • Quarterly Reports for investors, auditors, and senior management; including but not limited to management reports, internal schedules, impairment schedules, and deal allocation reports.
    • Coordinate with securitization and ensure accuracy of CLO newsletters and rating agency reports.
    • Coordinate with treasury in warehouse reporting for items such as cash flows, financial statements and other warehouse lender requirements.
    • Coordinate and train analysts to ensure accuracy of reports.
  • Point asset management person in the securitization process. Coordinate in obtaining due diligence material for new securitizations:
    • Work with rating agencies, audit team, underwriters and other related parties in maintaining and reviewing the placement memos and data tapes.
    • Review source documents, loan agreements, and other documents in updating the data tapes.
  • Review and calculate metrics for DSCR and LTV, and provide respective interpretations.
  • Maintain procedural guide for the analyst team.
  • Maintain data and run reports in the Enterprise loan servicing system.
  • Run additional reports as needed; such as performance and other loan related information.


Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Real Estate, Finance or a related discipline.


Experience: 3-5 years commercial real estate/mortgage experience is required with an emphasis on risk/financial analysis, valuations, relationship management, capital markets, and securitization.



  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel and Word; Loan servicing system experience a plus (I.e. Enterprise).
  • Basic knowledge of real estate markets with a particular emphasis on multifamily, office, residential, condominium and hospitality sectors. 
  • Strong financial, analytical, organizational, written, oral communication, project management, and multi-tasking skills are necessary.
  • Knowledge of DSCR and LTV calculations for participations with senior/junior structure.
  • The qualified candidate will be hard-working, a quick learner, detail-oriented, well-organized and able to work alone as well as with others to reach a common goal.
  • Knowledge of ARGUS valuation Software a plus.
