  • Overview

    The Senior Financial Analyst will be primarily responsible for the development and maintenance of quarterly & annual forecasts, operating analysis, and other special projects. The Senior Financial Analyst will also support other reporting requirements for senior management including board and investor presentations, peer group comparisons, SEC reporting, variance analysis, and other projects as assigned.


    The Senior Financial Analyst will have the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:


    • Assist in the development and maintenance of company annual forecasts, as well as other models and analyses to support strategic initiatives (i.e. “what if” strategic analysis)
    • Identify and analyze key performance drivers and trends to align financial forecasts accordingly
    • Coordinate and prepare the Board of Directors’ reporting packages
    • Perform monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc financial statement reports for management and in support of SEC reporting requirements
    • Support Finance/Accounting department initiatives for process improvements and systems upgrades
    • Continuously assess finance and accounting processes for potential improvements
    • Assist finance team with variance analyses, cost allocations and other analytical support


    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting


    Experience:  Minimum of 4 years’ professional experience; real estate, mortgage banking/finance, or related experience preferred. Recent graduates with a Masters in Finance or related discipline with hands on experience will be considered.




    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel financial modeling required; report writing experience preferred
    • Familiarity with the terms and concepts of real estate finance preferred
    • Ability to work under pressure, completing tasks with speed and accuracy; show drive, initiative and ownership
    • Be a willing, effective, and efficient learner; willingness to receive feedback and take direction
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to organize and prioritize projects; complete multiple tasks on schedule
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP & financial principles
