Work as an intern on a variety of projects under supervision on assignments and develop relationships with other staff and clients. This role requires the ability to continually learn and use new skills, and to work in a high-paced, changeable client-service environment.


HOURS OF OPERATION:Our office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday


As an Intern, you will get the chance to contribute as a member of the team to which you are assigned and have responsibilities similar to a first year professional. The Structured Asset Management Intern will have the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Lead Asset Management activities for a portfolio of Structured product loans.
  • Perform new loan setups including abstraction of key terms from legal documents and boarding of loan data into Enterprise database.
  • Assist Asset Managers with financial statement entry and analysis of property operations compared to underwriting, borrower budgets, and stabilized projections.
  • Assist Asset Managers with market research, review and analysis of leases, appraisals and other third party reports, and preparation of valuation models.
  • Provide borrower support, loan administration and support on various ad hoc and special projects including production of data tapes.
  • Prepare and edit financial reports for investors, auditors, and senior management; including but not limited to CLO investor newsletters, management reports, and rating agency reports.
  • Effectively apply technology tools and software in assigned areas.
  • Keep the supervisors informed of assignment status and progress.


Education: Satisfactory academic progress in an Accounting, Finance, Real Estate or related program (GPA of 3.0 or greater)


Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Dependable and proactive self-starter with the ability to handle and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
