    ArborCrowd is seeking a Senior Content Marketing Manager. The core focus of this role will be in creating content that build the ArborCrowd brand, captures new prospects, and nurtures them to become investors. This is a hands-on role where you will have the opportunity to build customer-focused content strategy, create best-in-class content, and execute cross-channel marketing campaigns in support. The role requires a proactive and enthusiastic attitude that fosters collaboration across functions within the organization.

    Responsibilities

    The Senior Content Marketing Manager will have the following duties and responsibilities including but not limited to:

     

    Growing Our Brand and Product

     

    Content plays a key role in building the ArborCrowd brand, positioning our product effectively, and educating potential and current investors.  This role requires a strong customer focus, with an understanding of our core audiences, to write the kind of content that addresses their needs while establishing ArborCrowd as a thought leader in the industry.

     

    This role will lead the process of turning our messaging architecture and brand positioning into a comprehensive content strategy that spans the customer journey. You will own the writing of content assets across diverse formats. In doing so, you must demonstrate the ability to take complex topics and make them in easily digestible, yet ensuring the product is not cheapened in the process.

     

    Building and Optimizing Cross-Channel Campaigns

     

    A customer-focused content strategy is nothing without customers. This role will play a key role in the activation of the content strategy through helping to build cross-channel marketing campaigns. You must have the ability to apply external data to understand demand and build a promotion plan for major content initiatives.

     

    This role will be responsible for providing updates on progress, action items, and milestones around cross-channel campaigns.

     

    Working In A Startup Team

     

    As a startup, ArborCrowd employees have an “all hands on deck” approach to our work, and working together in collaboration is a key to our success.

     

    This role will work closely with ArborCrowd’s property underwriters to gain in-depth knowledge of each investment in order to create the sophisticated content that will drive interest in our investments. You will work with the heads of digital production and marketing automation to deeply understand the customer journey in order to most effectively capture and nurture a pipeline of leads. This role will also manage the output of freelancers and agencies to sure ArborCrowd extracts maximum value from collaboration with all our partners.

     

     

     

     

     

    Qualifications

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or a related field.

     

    Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in editorial, marketing, corporate communications, digital or social media environment that include direct editorial responsibility and/or content marketing initiatives. Experience in the commercial real estate sector is required. Experience writing about financial services or crowdfunding is a major plus.

     

    Knowledge/Skills/Attributes

     

    • Demonstrated skill in writing and editing for a print or digital publication.
    • Must possess a passion for creating content.
    • Ability to understand what the audience needs to know, their pain points and how they want to consume each piece of content.
    • Ability to analyze data to inform the content strategy, and the ability to use analytics to measure the success of content marketing programs, including digital marketing campaigns.
    • Significant experience in digital media planning and content/social media management.
    • Experience with CMS (WordPress and basic HTML a strong plus).
    • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop) and the Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to build trust and cultivate internal relationships and external content partnerships to effectively lead the execution of content marketing strategy.
    • Positive attitude, team-player, hard worker, motivated self-starter, excellent interpersonal skills, creative, pro-active, well organized and detail-oriented.
    • Desires an exciting fast paced “start-up” environment. 
    • Ability to roll up sleeves and be prepared to work hard.
