    The Content & Social Media Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing, sustaining and growing Arbor’s brand and new business objectives through social media and video.  In this role, he/she will be responsible for leveraging all content marketing while generating and executing new ideas to support the firm’s branding and new business objectives. The Content & Social Media Marketing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all short- and long-term strategies initiatives align with the company’s overall strategy while helping enhance and support an industry-leading, omnichannel customer experience.

    The Content & Social Media Marketing Specialist will develop all social media posts, manage the social calendar and provide guidance for paid social digital advertising.  He/she will work collaboratively with Arbor’s digital and corporate communications teams as well as legal/compliance teams, to exhibit best practices and to ensure social posts are aligned with Arbor’s overall brand and positioning. The Digital Media Strategist will also produce and edit custom video content as part of Arbor’s content initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    The Content & Social Media Marketing Specialist will have the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:

    • Create and develop a strategic social media plan leveraging appropriate content that properly positions Arbor as a thought leader in its areas of expertise
    • Provide a flexible, creative approach to planned and spontaneous ideas to facilitate real time social content, where appropriate
    • Contribute to content marketing team through video production and editing
    • Make strategic recommendations to drive engagement, impressions, awareness, thought leadership, lead generation/nurturing and lead conversions
    • Provide guidance on social media advertising  backed by ROI and other key analytics
    • Develop product-specific  plans to assist key marketing initiatives
    • Work collaboratively and strategically with corporate communications to target and integrate brand specific campaigns with the ability to manage input from cross-functional stakeholders (creative team, legal, compliance, etc.)
    • Optimize and amend strategies based on analytics, results, market changes and client feedback

    Qualifications

    Education: Bachelor’s degree required with a concentration in Marketing, Journalism or English

     

    Experience:  2-5 years of experience in a digital and social media-related job function that required social media strategy and video production as well as writing, editing and delivering content for social media marketing.

     

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 

    • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
    • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to re-interpret and communicate information from business databases, term sheets, senior management and subject matter experts in easy-to-understand formats
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
    • Proficient in video production and editing using such Final Cut Pro or similar application.
    • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite as well as knowledge of social media martech tools [i.e. Hootsuite, Social Studio]
    • Passion about all aspects of marketing and a good understanding of print and digital marketing tactics, including content marketing, email marketing, and search marketing 
    • Strong time management skills and ability to effectively multi-task a high standard of verbal and written communication for internal and external audiences
    • Expertise across all major social platforms. Including: Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.
    • Experience developing and executing paid media campaigns across various social platforms – preferably for a leading b2b brand
