  • Overview

    The VP of Digital Marketing Operations will be responsible for building collaborative and results-oriented teams by thinking strategically, solving problems creatively, executing plans, and managing projects. Responsibilities include leading teams to ensure that the business requirements, project tasks, marketing campaigns, budgets, systems, and processes are aligned with Arbor’s departmental and corporate goals.

     

    Responsibilities

    The VP of Digital Marketing Operations will have the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:

                   

    • Support and manage the front-end business solutions strategy and operation of various cloud-based services, systems, and applications.
    • Partner with business solutions teams to define and groom features (Epics, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria) while ensuring stability and enhancing capabilities.
    • Coordinate with strategy and planning teams, as well as internal stakeholders, to define and lead Arbor’s digital platform vision.
    • Cultivate relationships with key vendors and offshore/freelance teams.
    • Collaborate with partner teams to achieve shared objectives, provide strategic insight, and lead improvements in customer service, digital solutions, and operations.
    • Translate strategic initiatives and business objectives into an execution plan, utilizing strong collaboration and agile leadership.
    • Work with multiple teams to take ownership for technical roadmaps, UX design and program delivery.
    • Drive results by tracking operational metrics, identifying process improvement opportunities and delivering on strategic initiatives.
    • Establish and promote strong relationships across all management levels to advocate for leading edge digital solutions.
    • Support, communicate and facilitate Arbor’s change management goals within the marketing department and entire organization.
    • Partner with marketing leadership in the establishment and management of department planning, budgeting, and staffing.
    • Implement and oversee project management tools, processes and best practices to support scalability, workflow ingestion, effective assignment and completion of tasks as it relates to marketing campaigns.
    • Develop high-level presentations on strategic plans and recommendations to senior management.        

    Qualifications

    Education: Bachelor’s degree required with a major in Project Management or Marketing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    Experience: +10 years of professional experience in technical project management or operations in marketing, consulting and/or advertising. Expertise in managing agile development teams and release management for Salesforce platforms, digital platforms, and marketing campaigns.

     

    Required knowledge/skills/abilities:  

     

    • Strategic thinker who partners with key stakeholders to drive the success of the company.
    • A leader in the formulation and implementation of the department’s operational strategy.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak effectively to senior leadership and internal/external stakeholders.
    • Detail and action-oriented with the capability to manage numerous conflicting priorities.
    • Self-starter with ability to solve ambiguous/open-ended business challenges and act as an advocate for demand generation, content, and customer experience.
    • Strong relationship management and team-oriented skills to lead and influence others in a cross-functional environment.
    • Tech-savvy and up-to-date on all marketing tools, platforms, and resources.
    • Understanding of the Finance and/or Real Estate Services ecosystem.

     

    Preferred: 

    • Confidence leading cross-functional initiatives at a management level and skills in issue management and conflict resolution.
    • Solid knowledge of program and project management principles and practices, such as PMP certification.
    • Expertise in business process automation best practice governance.
    • Strong software, budgeting and data analytical skills to help drive efficient and effective operational teams.
    • Expertise with project management tools/systems and product life cycle, business metrics and business operations.
