  • Overview

    Arbor Realty Trust is currently looking for a Financial Compliance Analyst to join our growing Treasury department.  The Financial Compliance Analyst will be responsible for the overall management of Arbors’ various Lender financing relationships, included but not limited to covenant compliance, recommendations and assistance with renegotiation of current lending facilities, research and recommendations for new potential relationships and cost management of current facilities for both the Arbor Commercial Mortgage and Arbor Realty Trust portfolios.

    Responsibilities

    The Financial Compliance Analyst will have the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:

    • Timely preparation and distribution of Financial Covenant Compliance reporting for lending facilities.
    • Work with Senior Cash Manager with review of Fee Schedules to confirm compliance with underlying loan agreements
    • Responsible for lender facility management
    • Kick off and assistance of negotiations with Lenders during renewal and possible renegotiation of facilities with Legal , AVP and SVP of Treasury
    • Review of all interest expense schedules for payment submission
    • Utilization of Daily Finance reports for analysis and recommendation to upper management
    • Ability to handle pipeline projection and to project potential line capacity needs

    Qualifications

    Education: Bachelor’s degree preferably in Accounting or Finance. 

     

    Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ Accounting and/or Finance experience.  Financial Analysis, Legal experience and relationship management a plus. Real estate experience a plus.

     

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

     

    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word
    • Knowledge and understanding of accounting and financial statements
    • Excellent financial, analytical, communication, project management and multi-tasking skills
    • Must be hard-working, a quick learner, detail-oriented, well-organized and able to work alone as well as with others to reach a common goal
