  • Overview

    The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for administrative coverage for various Executives/ Departments as well as front desk reception coverage as needed.  This position will also be responsible for various Human Resources tasks and projects on a regular basis. 


    The Administrative Assistant will have the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:


    • Administrative coverage for the Executive Assistants, while those employees are on vacation, leave of absence, out sick, or if there is a need for extra help regarding project work.
    • Coverage for the various reception desks including Uniondale on a daily basis and our New York City offices as needed.
    • Answering phones in a professional manner, greeting visitors, conference room scheduling, receiving packages, screening phone calls, maintaining calendars, meeting organization, internet research, typing, filing, proofreading; photocopying; shredding, collating and assembling packages, taking messages, etc.
    • Other Administrative functions include administrative support on an as needed basis, word document and excel spreadsheet projects, backing up the other Administrative Assistants if necessary, various projects, making sure all conference rooms are well maintained, etc.
    • Opening and closing of the office.
    • Special projects as assigned.
    • Candidate must be willing to cover our various New York City offices when required.


    Education: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required.


    Experience: 2-4 years of administrative experience.



    • Must have a high degree of initiative, be a motivated self-starter, have a flexible attitude and be able to adapt to a changing environment.
    • High degree of integrity, energetic, and have an upbeat attitude
    • Must be polished and have the ability to interact with all levels of management in a professional manner and handle EXTREMELY confidential matters.
    • Possess strong organizational, communication and multi-tasking skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point is required. Concur or any other expense reporting software is preferred. 



    Travel: As needed to NYC office.
